Happy birthday to MARY! 18 years old! And Matt! Growing up. AND ROB next week! the big 40. That is...great.

My Knee

I had a small incident earlier this week involving the pavement and my leg. And now my knee looks like this.

I realized today that I no longer interact with any Ashleys. Sad day. What happened to Ashley V.? Or Ashley B.? They were such wonderful individuals...

My feet have been soaking wet all day. I can't wait to go home. I might prefer the snow? At least you don't get as wet. But it's warmer when it's raining, so I can't decide.

Day 12 semester 7

Last night's game

Not bad since most of us haven't played basketball since 10th grade or so. Also, our team name is the GATORS, so what could go wrong??

My day so far (at 7:15 am)

So this morning hasn't been my favorite and I will have to make up work hours since I forgot my keys. But it's Friday, so things will improve, right?

Because Leila is hilarious

I love it when my family passes on funny things that the kids say. Their quips brighten my day and cause me to laugh at inappropriate moments (in the library, e.g.). This graph is not meant to bash Rob at all, actually. And apparently if you watch iCarly, you'll know the word "jank" already.

For yesterday

President Monson spoke last night at the Marriott Center. I love his talks! They are so easy to follow. And so memorable.

It was an excellent talk, and it was so wonderful to be in the same room as him.

On the big screen

Today I watched The Orphanage at the International Cinema on campus. EXCELLENT. VERY CREEPY. And I realized, I mostly didn't watch the movie. I mostly covered my eyes and held my breath.

20 minutes till kick-off! I'm so excited. Thanks to Dad and Tyson for priming me for this game with all the other bowl games over Christmas break.

The way things work

I'm looking for a lunch buddy for MWF at noon. It's boring to eat alone.

I also forgot to do my VT report for December. Add that to the resolutions pie chart.

Day 2 of semester 7

Today has been FULL of snow. Yesterday it snowed for 8 hours, and we thought that was bad. I left for work at 6:30 this morning and it was snowing then. Now, at 4:30 pm, it is coming down harder than ever! And the heel of one of my boots is no longer waterproof.

Oh the standard resolutions that I will make again next year: eat better, exercise more. We'll see how long I keep these up.
